Are you a skilled Rust developer with a passion for async programming, embedded systems, and wireless technologies? Join our innovative cybersecurity startup and help us build groundbreaking solutions in a high-impact industry.

We are currently hiring two Rust backend developers with flexible options for part-time (12–16 hours/week) or full-time involvement — depending on your experience and availability. Part-time roles are expected to evolve into full-time positions as we grow.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in backend development with Rust
  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming (Tokio/async-std or similar)
  • Familiarity with embedded systems (RTOS, bare-metal, or similar)
  • Bonus: Experience with wireless protocols (e.g., 5G-NR, LTE, WiFi, BLE)
  • Passion for cybersecurity, privacy, and solving complex technical challenges

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement backend services using Rust, with a focus on performance and security

  • Collaborate with the embedded systems team to ensure smooth integration between hardware and backend systems

  • Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews

  • Contribute to the development of secure APIs and data pipelines

  • Help shape early-stage product features based on security use cases and system requirements

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Rust, especially with async paradigms

  • Solid understanding of system-level programming concepts

  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, and modern dev workflows

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
