Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Rust Developer to design, develop, and

maintain scalable software solutions. As part of a dynamic team, you will work across the stack,

utilising Rust for backend development and modern front-end technologies to deliver highperformance

applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a

collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Rust.

  • Design and implement responsive front-end interfaces with modern frameworks (e.g., React, Typescript).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

  • Optimise applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues across the stack.

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to professional engineering standards.

  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with the Rust programming language.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Typescript, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with backend development tools and frameworks (e.g., Actix-web, Axum).
  • Experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, WebSocket protocols, or GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and debugging tools.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles for creating user-friendly interfaces.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies for software development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on performance-critical systems or applications close to hardware.

  • Familiarity with multithreading and concurrency concepts in Rust.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within a team.
  • Ability to work independently while taking ownership of projects.
